A client of Insight Global is seeking a Director of Flight Software to join their team in the Houston, TX area. This person will be responsible for leading and managing the software team and establishing strong working relationships with customers, internal/external stakeholders, and other engineering departments. They will develop planning, staffing, and budgeting for their teams and implement policies and processes for executive management. They'll be responsible for the design, development, testing, qualification, and deployment of the software for the company's projects. This role will require leadership of 70 software individuals, requiring strong leadership experience in a variety of roles, previous experience building out a team structure, and a strong software background.

Experience managing teams of 50+
