Summary: The on-site Director, IT Operations and Support is overall responsible for the Baptist Health IT operations and end-user support functions including IT Service Delivery, IT Service Management, End-User Technology, and End-User Experience in support of the strategic and operational needs of the organization. Additional responsibilities include staff and management development for assigned teams, strategic planning and operational support for assigned areas of oversight, and capital/operating budget development and oversight for assigned departments. This role demands a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of IT operations, a proven track record of managing complex IT support functions, and a commitment to leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and improving patient care.Description

Education / Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field preferred. M inimum 10 years' experience in IT operations and support, including at least 7 years in a leadership role overseeing service delivery and support functions within a healthcare or similar complex environment.
License / Certification: None
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Working knowledge of all aspects of IT operations, including hardware and software management, service delivery, and customer support.
● Advanced knowledge of ITIL-based IT Service Management processes.
● Advanced knowledge of various end-user technologies (desktops, laptops, software, peripherals, etc.).
● Intermediate knowledge of audio, video, and teleconferencing technologies.
● Basic knowledge of network and system security practices.
● Basic knowledge of server and network infrastructure operations.
● Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of IT professionals.
