You propel tactical direction and bring unity to complex business relationships. 

The Director of Market Access will elevate market access to a strategic level in the organization, ensuring patient access to therapies. This leader will drive execution of Market Access strategies and activities which differentiate and demonstrate the patient-centered value to payers, physicians and patients. 

Responsibilities:
  • Hire, lead, coach and develop the National and Regional Account team members focusing on Commercial and Managed Care Payers, Trade Accounts, IDNs and Group Purchasing Organizations.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to support and direct the team 
  • Manage GPO relationships and contract negotiations

Requirements:
  • BS/BA Degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ Years of experience in Commercial Biotech or Pharmaceuticals
  • Market Access expertise with an emphasis on market access strategy and pricing required  
  • Experience across a range of therapeutics areas, markets and channels, Cardiology Experience Preferred
  • Experience leading a team of senior direct reports
  • Extensive knowledge of payer and health systems, specifically with large academic health systems, IDNs and GPOs 
  • Experience negotiating contracts 
  • Ability to travel ~ 50%, including international
