We are looking for a transformational leader to develop and scale our U.S. Marketing Research team. This newly created role combines Market Research, Design Research, and Market Analytics. This new, executive role will be critical to informing Intuit's portfolio product and go-to-market strategies as we accelerate against our growth imperatives. Now more than ever, driving breakthrough adoption and building better together experiences requires pointed customer and market insight, which a leader spanning all of research within Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) can bring together into a unique and value-adding vantage point to influence decisions. This executive subject matter expert will lead Research & Insights across the QuickBooks platform, will partner with Mailchimp and across Intuit, and lead the Intuit-wide Market Research community across BUs and functions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a holistic research strategy, aligned with overall strategic priorities, key product launches, and GTM plans in order to drive successful customer-backed delivery.
  • Develop and lead a function to assess product market fit, alpha, beta, and GA criteria to ensure a high product quality bar prior to GTM activation.
  • Develop a Voice of the Customer communication strategy to ensure all teams across product, marketing and sales have a deep understanding of research and customer findings.
  • Lead bi-annual research inbound summary, identifying market and product opportunities, prioritization and partner across PMM / PM to influence roadmap.
  • Partner cross-functionally and with leadership to define the most important research questions, lead research, facilitate synthesis to get to compelling insights
  • Conduct E2E research, utilizing a wide variety of methodologies, to help us gain confidence in our understanding of the market, our users, their needs and the opportunity this uncovers for our products
  • Define the most important insights that drive seamless customer experiences and delight and work with cross functional partners across product, marketing, customer success and more to action these and translate them into business impact.
  • Lead a team of researchers across all disciplines of research, and be a mentor, coach and craft teacher
  • Influence a myriad of stakeholders and partnerships across product, marketing, customer, and other teams
  • Partner with the data team to develop a holistic data-backed perspective (qual + quant)
  • Provoke the organization with what is possible and clearly show how we might get there
