Director of Auxiliary Engagement and Run Walk for Cancer Care

Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Development, the Director of Auxiliary Engagement and Run Walk for Cancer Care is responsible for overseeing and supporting all aspects of the Auxiliary of Emerson Health, including governance, volunteer, and event management. The Auxiliary is a volunteer organization who develop and host fundraising events, offer educational opportunities, and provide handcrafted comfort items to enhance the patient experience at Emerson Health. The position also manages the annual Emerson Health Run~Walk for Cancer, the system's largest event fundraiser

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:

• Bachelor's degree required

• Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years development/event management experience with an established track record or other related experience required
• Solid volunteer management experience required

• Licensure and/or Certification:

• None

• Skills:

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Computer skills required.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
