Purpose

The Director of Corporate Development and Admissions will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining strategic relationships between Park University and corporate entities, with a primary focus on business development with an end goal of driving new student enrollment. This position involves identifying, cultivating, and managing partnerships that support the university's mission of transforming lives through accessible, student-centered, quality higher education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for advancing higher education through collaborative initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new corporate partnership opportunities that align with the university's strategic objectives, particularly those that can drive student enrollments.
  • Enrollment Growth: Develop and implement strategies to leverage corporate partnerships for increasing student enrollments through sponsored programs, scholarships, and employee education benefits.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key corporate partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance corporate engagement, including sponsorships, research collaborations, and internship programs.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals to potential corporate partners, showcasing the benefits of collaboration with the university, with a focus on enrollment growth.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work closely with various university departments, including admissions, academics, career services, and alumni relations, to facilitate partnership activities.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on partnership activities, including outcomes and impact on enrollments, and use data to refine strategies and approaches.

Organization

The Director of Corporate Development and reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships in a business to business setting.
  • Ability to work with diverse audiences and changing environments.
  • Proficiency in time management, attention to detail, and follow up.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
