Position Purpose:
To provide strategic and operational leadership for the development, management and integration of data analytics and systems within the Arts & Sciences division at Dartmouth. This role is pivotal in partnering with internal and external stakeholders to support the school's initiatives, developing strategic plans for data infrastructure, validation and visualization, implementing analytic tools for enhanced decision-making, and aligning existing systems, integrating data feeds, and enhancing capabilities. The Director will also establish a data governance plan to mitigate risks and lead a team of systems and data professionals to execute these plans, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp: Bachelors or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years in data management integration and analytics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in team management.
  • Proficiency in visualization tools, BI reporting tools, ETL processing, data modeling, SQL , Python.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
  • Experience in developing high-performing teams through cross-training.
  • Advanced proficiency with business intelligence reporting and analytical tools.
  • Strong background in ETL processes and SQL programming.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that encourages diverse ideas.
  • Exceptional ability to quickly adjust strategies in response to organizational changes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree.
