Responsibilities:

  • Drive platform technology direction including global strategy, planning, implementing and maintaining standard processes for various technologies such as AWS, Azure, Databricks, Teradata, Cloudera, Hadoop, Informatica, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
  • Operationalize platform services in a culture of reliability, observability, and automation
  • Communicate service delivery metrics to all partners; explain any performance setbacks, risks, and issues.
  • Drive the development and execution of the data platforms strategy, ensuring the seamless implementation of innovative solutions.
  • Lead a team of proactive individuals, offering guidance and support to enhance productivity and accomplish challenging objectives.
  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of data platforms, ensuring they are operating at peak performance while strictly adhering to security and compliance standards.
  • Stay informed about current industry trends and new technologies, finding ways to improve and update our data platforms.
  • Build next generation data talent identified in data job families and roles Promote an environment that supports diversity, equity and inclusion and reflects the values of the company.
  • Partner with regional leaders to extend solutions globally and identify and meet regional needs.
  • Develop internal and external relations that enhance the overall data technology offerings.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant business experience.
  • 10 years of relevant data technology experience.
  • A broad knowledge of Data Technologies such as but not limited to AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata, Informatica, Tableau, Qlik, etc.- familiar with
  • Superior interpersonal, relationship-building and partnership skills; must be able to build a strong network of senior leaders and consistently collaborate across the enterprise to be successful.
  • Ability to partner and engage with a cross-section of people at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading data platform initiatives, with a consistent history of achieving successful outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of data management principles, including data governance, data integration, and data quality.
  • A critical focus on efficiency, effectiveness and a field for matching skills and experience to business demand type.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

The base pay range for this position is the anticipated base pay range for this position is $142,000 -$244,950.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
