Staff and direct the Product Support Specialist team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum sales growth in line with company vision and values.

Oversee and manage the development and performance of the Patient Product Specialist program to prepare PSS team members for future roles at the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish plans and strategies to expand the programs and create a bench for future Sales Organization team members; partner with Sales Leadership to integrate team activities into the overall commercial strategy.
  • Create and collaborate with senior management on the development of training and structure of the field sales support programs.
  • Maximize PSS resources by directing and prioritizing assignments with Medline's field sales teams for product conversions and implementations.
  • Collaborate with product divisions to establish short- and long-term growth strategies; establish and revise product implementation/evaluation processes.
  • Align existing program and product development to commercial strategy; set the sales bag annually based on AGM, sales growth potential, support needed, and team member experience.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans.
  • Organize and roll out meetings: training bootcamps, National Sales Meeting sessions that align with the strategies set forth annually.
  • Report out KPIs on a regular cadence to Sales Leadership and product division

    Management responsibilities include:

    Managing people managers; onboarding new leaders and coaching

    Direct budgetary responsibility for the departments (headcount return on investment planning, expense management)

    Provide continuing education for team members (e.g. interview training, capstone project training)

    Recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies;

    Hire staff, train and develop existing staff, estimate personnel needs, assign work, conduct performance reviews, design effective compensation programs


Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.


Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of sales and/or business development experience.
  • At least 2 years people management responsibilities.


Additional

  • Experience collaborating with both internal resources and external resources to develop strategies that meet department goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience presenting to and coordinating senior level meetings/trainings, including preparation of agendas, documenting meeting minutes, sending out documents to attendees.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships within and between teams.
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the time for business purposes (within state, out of state).

Education:

  • MBA


Relevant Work Experience

  • Sales and/or business development experience within healthcare industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing and implementing training programs.
  • At least 4 years of experience directly managing people including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
