Job Summary:
The Director of Innovation, Systems Integration and Improvement is a key member of the Ambulatory Services leadership team. Functions as the Ambulatory lead role for a variety of multi-disciplinary projects that drive innovation, operations transformation, quality initiatives, and capital projects. Will be responsible to implement models of systemness that expand and standardize ongoing eHealth initiatives across Ambulatory Services in support of the Upstate strategic plan and planned clinical growth. Areas of focus include primary intermediary with IMT teams to implement initiatives across ambulatory clinical
services that enhance the patient experience such as system patient access, direct patient scheduling, referral management and digital front door platform.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, (preferably in a clinical preparation related field). A minimum of 3 years relevant experience with demonstrated project and program management in a health care setting required. Demonstrated increased responsibility managing multiple projects of varying complexity within specific guidelines, timeframes and budgets required. Excellent communication, organizational, collaboration and team-building skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Visio (or equivalent process mapping software).
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in Healthcare related field and related clinical experience. Demonstrated record of consistent commitment to excellence in quality and safety in service delivery. Experience in owning, driving and improving operational processes. Knowledge of relevant project management methods and experience managing project teams with cross-function projects enabling teams to operate innovatively, effectively, and efficiently.
