A client of Insight Global is looking for a Director of Mechanical Construction Operations to their growing innovations team based out of Kansas City, MO. The Director of Operations would be reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations for their innovations team. Day to day, the Director would be responsible for overseeing project team performance and profitability, leading strategic initiatives, and fostering company culture for continuous improvement. Please see the below breakdown of general responsibilities:

Analysis & Planning:
Evaluate manufacturing processes, approve financial forecasts, and seek new project opportunities.

Management:
Lead site teams, manage project profits, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful project execution.

Quality Assurance:
Set project goals, implement risk mitigation strategies, and document project data for quality monitoring.

Support:
Aid in budgeting, business planning, and the project procurement process.

Talent Acquisition:
Handle recruitment, performance management, and HR policies.

Performance Monitoring:
Track KPIs, manage revenue, and adjust strategies to achieve business goals

Required Skills & Experience
- Senior level experience in the construction industry
- Experience in mechanical contracting and/or data center projects
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical construction industry practices, processes, and standards
- Experience as a top-level manager overseeing projects, scheduled, budgets, and teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in construction management
