This position is located in the Nursing Department of the Veterans Home of California-Chula Vista and is responsible for: As the Director of Nursing (DON); develop standards, procedures, and policies to maintain quality nursing services with primary emphasis on the physical care needs of the residents in the facility; directly supervise the Supervising Nurse II (ADON); the DON has administrative authority, responsibility and accountability for the nursing services within the facility and shall serve only one facility in this capacity at any one time.

Special Requirements
