Your Day to Day
As the director of Revenue Management, you will contribute to and implement company and hotel strategies for pricing, yield, distribution and selling. Manage hotel revenue generation and maximization through full utilization of business systems and processes. Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including hotel general managers, sales leaders, and owners.
-Responsible for the daily management of both Revenue and Reservation teams.
-Maintain and disseminate critical information including a master calendar of external events, competitor rate intelligence, RevPar penetration (RGI), arrival and spending patterns of commercial accounts, denial reports, meeting space allocation, and guest capture rates.
-Monitor, analyze and report on loyalty program penetration (overall and by account, including bookers), system contribution, and trends in rooms and non-rooms revenues by channel, segment and account.
-Maintain an in-depth understanding of the composition of hotel profitability, utilize to evaluate business from local and group in order to provide input and insight for future rate strategy and negotiation.
What we need from you
Four years of relevant experience with a minimum of two years in a revenue management supervisory role.
-Professional standard of written and oral communication.
-Demonstrated ability to develop constructive relationships with a team and key stakeholders.
-Proven ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects positively on the workplace and the company and IHG.
-Demonstrated knowledge of effective hotel pricing concepts, yield management optimization and selling strategies, and an ability to manage and lead the development of these key business processes.
