To be successful, you should have:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience, including managing direct reports.
- Proven sales leadership experience, focusing on SaaS or technology sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Solid understanding of highly regulated industries, with a track record of achieving revenue objectives and growing sales teams.
Your responsibilities as the Director of Sales will include:
- Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets while leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team.
- Market Expansion: Identify and close new business opportunities in highly regulated industries, expanding the company’s market presence.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, leading negotiations and ensuring long-term partnerships.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop sales professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.
- Performance Management: Track key performance metrics, leveraging data to optimize sales processes and drive decision-making.
- Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, inform sales strategies, and maintain competitive advantage.
