What you will do:

The role of Director, Paid Social will take on a primary role in setting the divisional social strategy and lead oversight and management of the day-to-day hands-on keyboard social team, managing marketing campaign performance and continuously analyze data to improve outcomes. This individual will support the entire portfolio for Professional Products Division (PPD) brands to develop and manage all aspects of the L'Oréal PPD social media strategy. This individual will partner with brands and the agency to implement process and governance around planning and execution to ensure best in class campaign execution and consistency across the division.

In partnership with the AVP of Paid Social, they will work on upskilling the organization on social media best practices and innovations, provide a measurement framework to answer key business questions, and liaise with the global media team to ensure adherence to L'Oreal global guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • An entrepreneurial mindset and passion for social media with a focus on consumer-centricity
  • Familiarity and expertise with social ad platforms including Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Reddit, X, etc. with a proven track record of delivering measurable business results for clients and the prowess to remain diligent on market trends and marketplace conditions
  • Ability to develop and implement media best practices to take full advantage of distinct social media ecosystems
  • Demonstrated understanding of strategic planning and program implementation in the digital space to reach consumers across the consumer journey
  • Internally upskill & educate marketing and sales teams on the fundamentals of social adverting and advise on briefings and media strategy to aid the group
  • Past experience creating transformational media strategies that drive measurable business results- D2C experience a plus
  • A track record of team leadership and a passion for career development
  • Interpersonal savvy especially when dealing with internal stakeholders and external media partners to upskill and educate team(s)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully cross functionally and create clarity within an emerging capability that touches multiple teams
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and management skills


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years experience with a vendor, client, traditional agency or media-focused role
  • Strong project management skills, including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing based on business need and estimated impact.
  • Effectively communicate (both verbally and written) with multiple groups, including presentations
  • Ability to effectively present to and persuade an individual or group or people.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, results and solution oriented, strategic thinker
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills


Essential Physical Requirements:

Must to be able to work in an office environment, minimum of 3 days per week.
