The Director, People Operations & Analytics will support the talent operations of the company as a strategic partner to bring departmental objectives to life. The primary responsibilities include managing the operational employee lifecycle, compliance, policies & procedures, and special HR projects all while cultivating an engaging employee experience. This role will also work to enhance our people analytics capabilities to drive data driven decision making across the organization.

Employee Lifecycle Operations and Process Strategy & Management
  • Understand the business and internal processes to recommend, communicate, and implement new processes, approaches, policies, practices and procedures to drive continuous improvements while ensuring effectiveness to the overall employee experience.
  • Identify trends, determine root causes of problems, predict future implications and create solutions to drive effective business solutions for organizational HR needs.
  • As appropriate, challenge the efficiency and experience of given processes and procedures to enhance or improve them. Analyze workflow, including hand-off and communication points within a process.
  • Work with HR verticals and stakeholders to manage logistics and lead strategy for onboarding, offboarding, and other employee touchpoints
  • Work with larger HR team to continuously work to drive efficiencies and delivery of an excellent employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Serve as key partner for the Workday team to provide strategy and continuous evolution and streamlining of key processes utilizing technology.
  • Work with Learning team to launch learning experiences via Workday.
  • Partner with larger team to roll out new projects and drive project expectations to team members and stakeholders from start to finish
  • Participate in and/or lead special projects


People & Compensation Analytics
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for talent analytics and compensation reporting needs across all business units.
  • Work with larger HR team to build the practices required to collect and analyze HR data.
  • Identify and support HR and business leaders reporting and data needs, and initiate reporting designs and implementation of dashboards that present data in a meaningful and actionable framework.
  • Manage employee surveying tool by working with key stakeholders to administer and analyze employee engagement surveys.
  • Responsible for working toward clearly linking people analytics to business objectives and outcomes by partnering with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Collaborate with leaders at all levels of the organization and various departments to improve stakeholders' ability to understand and use data to make and drive informed decisions across the business.
  • Create, maintain, and ensure quality assurance of key talent data sets, reports, and metrics by promoting data consistency, accuracy, and completeness with articulated standards.
  • Produce visually compelling and easily comprehensible analyses by transforming complex data into clear visualizations and actionable insights.


Policy & Compliance:
  • Manage employee handbook revisions and new policy creation on an ongoing basis, while working with larger HR team and other key stakeholders to keep a finger on the pulse of any future policy changes.
  • Maintain and evolve various employee legal documentation from hire letters, job change letters and departure documentation.
  • Work with internal and external legal counsel in various compliance aspects of Human Resources.
  • Research and review new legislation to maintain compliance as well as ensure proper employee notices are updated and posted.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will also oversee a People Operations Partner responsible for operationally ensuring the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
  • 8+ years of People Operations experience managing and creating business processes for complex organizations
  • 2-3 years of People Analytics experience performing various people & compensation analysis
  • Workday experience required
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience managing a team
  • Passionate, excited, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen attention to detail and an aptitude for problem solving
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Able to proactively address potential issues
