Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in product management in a technical domain (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.).
  • 8 years of experience leading and managing people in a technical team/organization, as well as experience setting, organizing, and delivering strategic efforts for an organization.
  • 5 years of experience in software engineering or a related capacity.
  • 5 years of experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
  • 5 years of experience in product management in a developer-focused technical role.
  • Experience driving outcomes through data driven orientation.
  • Experience as a recognized thought leader and good communication skills to represent the work at executive presentations and industry events.
  • Knowledge of working with internal facing teams.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy and vision for how GenAI will transform the software development lifecycle - working closely with key stakeholders and partners. Build products that provide Google developers access to safe, trusted, high quality AI capabilities that deliver substantial improvements to developer productivity.
  • Build product roadmaps, rationalize investments and resource allocation, create funding proposals, and establish prioritization principles based on outcomes and impact. Quantify and communicate the value of Dev AI, establishing industry standards for measuring developer productivity, evaluations, and benchmarks.
  • Build and execute a platform vision and approach aligned with platform/infrastructure work happening across other Google teams. Evaluate and build strategic relationships across the company including GDM, Gemini, Bard, and Google Cloud.
  • Lead and manage a team, including hiring and career development.
