Position Overview

Serve as the primary Governance, Risk, and Compliance ('GRC') platform subject matter expert for Program Insight, an Operational Risk project within Global Risk Services ('GRS'). Responsible for driving the development, implementation, and management of the GRC module for the Program. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into practical solutions that align with organizational objectives. The role may also require providing solutions for integrating other applications with the GRC platform.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the implementation of the GRC platform for Program Insight, ensuring alignment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Lead the design, build out, and testing of the GRC platform in partnership with multiple stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  • Program subject matter expert in the development of GRC policies, processes, and procedures, providing operational guidance, and ongoing support and enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between Program Insight and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment on product goals and expectations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the GRC product.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, using key metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor all aspects of the GRC tool including communication with control owners and operators, control attestations and evidence collation, and assist with tool maturity to support GRS processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Post-graduate or professional qualification in a related field preferred
  • 5 + years of project management experience.

Skills and Abilities
  • 5+ years experience in information systems, preferred ServiceNow platform
  • 5+ years of risk, audit, controls related experience
  • Advanced understanding of risks, controls, policy, and implementation of a GRC module
  • Previous experience with regulatory module implementation and reporting
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to convey business terminology that is meaningful and well-received by the customer.
  • Knowledge of broad risk management-related practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and/or sub-teams simultaneously, including the ability to delegate key areas of responsibility
  • Ability to adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions
  • Advanced ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
  • Advanced investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable/accepted solutions

The general pay range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles, and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
