Who You Are

You are an accomplished business executive with decades of experience in Risk Management and Compliance within Capital Markets and Banking sectors. Your strategic leadership and execution expertise have been honed through various roles, where you've demonstrated proficiency in areas such as Risk Management, Compliance, Enterprise Data, Analytics, and Finance transformation. Your track record includes successful engagements with global financial institutions, where you've provided advisory services, led strategic initiatives, and navigated complex regulatory landscapes.

What You Will Do

As the Director of Risk Management and Compliance, you will be responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives in risk management and compliance for our Financial Services clients. Leveraging your extensive experience, you will play a pivotal role in building out our internal risk and regulatory practice while shaping strategies for our clients across the financial services landscape ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing global risk and compliance strategies, focusing on regulatory initiatives, solutions, and offerings.
  • Providing advisory services to clients on a range of risk and compliance issues, including T+1, FRTB, FDIC, Regulatory MRAs, Enterprise Data, and Risk optimization.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address compliance challenges, such as BCBS239, Regulation BI, FFIEC, ANNA UPI requirements, trade reporting, and metadata.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert (SME) in risk management and compliance, assisting clients with trade reporting, T+1 compliance, and regulatory compliance issues related to end-point security, cloud/hybrid controls, and more.
  • Driving business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing assets, and creating innovative solutions in areas such as Big Data, AI/ML, Cloud, and Risk.
  • Maintaining a multi-million dollar pipeline of work driving towards a sales target of $7.5M influenced revenue annually.


What You Bring
  • 25+ years of progressive experience in Risk Management and Compliance within Capital Markets and Banking.
  • Strong strategic leadership skills with a proven track record of executing complex initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in regulatory compliance, risk optimization, and enterprise data management.
  • Professional certifications might include a CFA, FRM, PRM, and CPA, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence.
  • Extensive experience in advising global financial institutions, managing regulatory initiatives, and driving business transformation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or similar, complemented by additional certifications and qualifications in finance, risk management, and accounting.
