Position Overview:

The Sales Ops & Enablement leader plays a key role in activating a variety of key strategic initiatives for the organization, as well as, developing and executing sales enablement strategies to drive growth across Care for Business. This leader serves as the direct manager of the Sales Support team. This leader will partner with leaders across Care for Business (CfB) as well as partners throughout Marketing, Product, and Communication organizations.

This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership in the development and execution of product, technical, and strategy training for CfB Sales and Account Management (AM) teams, in addition to providing leadership on the go-to-market strategies for CfB key initiatives (KIs) and business priorities.

Note: This position is hybrid in downtown Austin, TX (in office Mondays and Wednesdays)

What You’ll Do:
  • Successfully manages resources and oversees all development and delivery of go-to-market training and activation plans for CfB KIs and business-specific initiatives
  • Develops and delivers internal and external learning programs from program strategy through event execution; including ownership of CfB’s Customer Advisory Board
  • Drives strategic leadership for all training to prepare the Sales and AM teams to win in the market
  • Leads the development and delivery of ongoing sales training and enablement efforts, while working across CfB leadership to prioritize topics and timing
  • Leads a team of Sales Support Specialists who are responsible for proposal support, creation, and distribution; Opportunity routing/management; Sales material support, presentation builds, personalized content; Day-to-day sales process support and follow-up; Salesforce opportunity and contact QA; Salesforce sales process support; and other special projects
  • Develop associates; maintain a strong culture while onboarding new associates; prioritize succession planning and talent pipeline
  • Proactively gathers feedback relative to organizational obstacles and acts as an advocate to manage and resolve issues that could adversely impact the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives

Who You Are:
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience, including a strong record of proven leadership success and business acumen in the caregiving and/or employee benefits space
  • Direct or indirect people management experience
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits sales cycle, sales mindset, and proven experience leading efforts to drive productivity gains
  • Demonstrated ability to establish best-in-class processes to effectively bring CfB products, solutions, and initiatives to market
  • Strong strategic, innovative, and analytical thinking
  • Experience in managing and executing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Strong influential communication, writing and relationship-building skills across all levels of internal and external stakeholders

Salary Range: $140,000-$150,000

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
