JOB PURPOSE:
This position reports to the Executive Director of Operations and is responsible for daily operations for all acute care facilities within the dedicated region. Responsibilities include receiving, replenishment and inventory management of Med Surg, Cath lab, Electrophysiology, and Operating Rooms product lines while leading a mutli-site team of seventy-five to one hundred personnel. The Regional Director will maintain strategic goals and milestones while acting as a conduit between corporate supply chain and facility executive leadership. As the regional leader one will incorporate and adhere to policies, procedures and performance metrics to maintain quality service controls and business relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage strategic supply chain operations and business relationship with vendor, facility executive leadership, corporate supply chain, finance and internal audit teams
2. Inventory management of supplies and services across regional site locations for bulk, low unit of measure, consignment, bill only and capital request.
3. Use lean management techniques to increase standardization of product and service, reduce cost, drive continuous improvement and build trust within the region
4. Use key performance metrics to monitor operational trends within ordering patterns for distribution services, stock, non-stock and specials
5. Leads collaboration with corporate supply chain and distribution team members for new product induction and conversions
6. Develops and monitors Key Performance Indicators for inventory values, turns, issues, adjustments and expired goods to evaluate operational improvements
7. Recruit and retain qualified supply chain personnel for leadership roles within region
8. Effectively trains, manages, and motivate leaders to perform duties in accordance with standard operating procedures and industry best practice
9. Develop and implements strategies to optimize supply chain initiatives and programs
10. Establish and maintain relationships with key site executive stakeholders
11. Align strategic supply chain programs across assigned region.
12. Acts as a subject matter expert (SME) within the assigned area.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Business/Management or related field is required.
In lieu of degree, six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Seven (7) years of work experience in hospital supply chain operation or a closely related field to include leadership experience.
(If no degree, a total of sixteen (13) years of experience required.)

None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Healthcare background with a multi-facility environment is preferred.
