Position Summary
Assures the delivery of patient care with the skills of an experienced Registered Nurse. Position responsibilities include ensuring continuity of patient care, serving as a resource for subordinate staff, facilitating problem solving, assisting with Quality Improvement Activities, staff education and assuring compliance with established policies and procedures and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program
Bachelor's degree
Required Licenses
[Arizona, United States] Registered Nurse
Valid registered nurse license in State of Arizona
or
valid multistate license from a recognized compact state acceptable to Arizona
Required Certifications
Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) Preferred
Moderate Sedation required within 90 days
APEX Training within 90 days
Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (if employee has ACLS, BLS is NOT required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
