Job Summary/Basic Function
Office worker in the Disabilities Services office at the Weber State Davis Campus. Individual will perform general clerical and office duties using Microsoft Office applications, answer and transfer phone calls as well as schedule student interactions and scan student paperwork using the department database. Individual will generally assist students with the steps necessary to facilitate academic accommodation requests. Individual will also be involved in peer to peer support meetings, and courteously interacting with faculty and staff. Attendance at occasional staff meetings in the Ogden office will be required.
SSD encourages student workers to pursue their education and is flexible with school schedules.
**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time, the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
Federal Work Study preferred, but not required. Two years of coursework at the post-secondary level preferred, but not required.
Ability to work with a variety of people, have basic computer skills, and have a positive attitude. Must be able to work during office hours (8:00am to 6:30pm, Monday thru Friday).
