The Disease Site Research Manager coordinates the day-to-day activities of clinical operations for a core disease team, under the overall direction of the Manager and Director, Clinical Research Operations, collaborates with FCCC physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate clinical research trials and personnel for assigned team. Executes goals for the clinical research program; assists with planning efforts; contributes to development and reviewing of policies and procedures for clinical research; supports Management and Leadership on projects and initiatives; and provides oversight and guidance on team-member workloads and assessment of feasibility. Responsible for the overall operations, training and oversight of the assigned clinical research team, as well as coordination and management of a portion of the clinical research protocols and patients; acts as a resource for day-to-day issues for Oncology Clinical Research within assigned team. Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP-CP) certification required within 1 year from date of hire.

Education
Bachelors Degree (Required)
Masters Degree (Preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
2 Years direct experience in clinical research or 3 years experience in related clinical research role (Required)
Previous experience in a leadership/supervisory role (Preferred)

License/Certifications
ACRP-CP - Assn Clin Res Prof - Cert Prof (Required) or CCRP - Cert Clin Research Prof (Required)
