The Applied Networking team provides the frameworks to power interconnecting Apple devices to unlock sharing, collaboration, secure connections, and more! These frameworks provide API surfaces that enable Apple products such as iMessage, FaceTime, HomeKit, SharePlay, Apple Watch, AirDrop, and more to develop technologies and craft experiences that revolutionize the way people interact with their devices.

The team is seeking a passionate engineer to help build the next generation of frameworks and networking technologies that will power various Apple products and experiences.

Description
As a software engineer on the Applied Networking team you will have a unique ability to help drive and design higher level networking frameworks to facilitate and enable products and services to come to life. As well as Expand on existing frameworks and software products within the Applied Networking team that power communication & connectivity across all Apple devices, including public frameworks.

Defining product features, functional specs, resource planning, and development schedules

Scoping and prioritizing features and bug fixes

Representing the team and its technology in technical and project meetings

Advise and encourage engineering best practices to deliver quality features

Define and grow a diverse and world class engineering team
