DISTRIBUTION CENTER TEAM LEADER

The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Review documents and record information verifying quantity, identity, and condition of product.
• Oversees unloading of goods and materials from incoming shipments, ensuring they are handled efficiently and safely to prevent damage
• Verify received goods against purchase order or invoices, meticulously checking for accuracy in quantities, descriptions, and condition and recording any discrepancies or defects
• Manage the scheduling of receiving operations to align with delivery schedule and warehouse capacity adjusting as necessary to maintain workflow.
• Coordinate receiving labor in relation to start of shift, vacation, and call offs.
• Meet the physical demand of the position, know how to operate reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Must have the desire to be a supervisor and willingness to go to school
• Must be willing and capable of running the receiving shift in the absent of a supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• 18+ years of age.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
