Diversity and Community Engagement Coordinator

The Dean's Office in the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and College of General Studies is seeking a Diversity and Community Engagement Coordinator responsible for the creation and implementation of diversity training and programming. Key projects include diversity foundation training, experiencing Pittsburgh communities program, a staff mentoring program, and customized diversity trainings for faculty, staff, and students. Assists in the committee searches for positions in the school. Assists with diversity events within the school. Incumbent reports to the Director of Equity and Community Engagement and together they meet with community partners to identify collaborative opportunities with the Dietrich School and College of General Studies.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently, use critical thinking skills, have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent presentation and facilitation skills. Candidate must also have keen attention to detail.
