Perform as a key member of the Structurals Division financial team. Interprets Corporate and accounting policies and ensures compliance with procedures and practices. Performs specialized work requiring a thorough knowledge of accounting theory and practices in addition to Corporate policy.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Prepare, process and maintain A/R daily customer invoicing for the Division.
  • Maintain and coordinate A/R GL accounts, analyze, and reconcile monthly activities. Perform necessary General Ledger recon and determine proper Journal Entries to balance end-of-month close.
  • Audits and analyzes accounting reports/systems and recommend improvements.
  • Work with internal and external customers to ensure A/R accounts are accurate and assist in collections process.
  • Prepare process and maintain daily A/R cashing posting for the Division.
  • Provide interpretation and application of accounting information and/or policy .
  • Interface with Division and Plant personnel to leverage and share accounting tools and knowledge .
  • AR Reporting
  • Intercompany accounting
  • Account reconciliations
  • Assist and backup all aspects of Accounts Receivable process as needed

Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or the equivalent of knowledge and experience (approximately 4-5 years previous accounting experience).
  • Proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks within time constraints
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of management are required.
