JOB GOAL:
Advanced clerical and bookkeeping work in the examination, analysis, and verification of accounting records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years experience in responsible clerical work, with one year of bookkeeping experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Working knowledge of personal computers and skill in the use of a typewriter, copy machines and other standard office machines.
Type at 35 correct words per minute
Valid Florida Driver License.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of bookkeeping principles and methods and their application to work situations. Knowledge of rules and regulations controlling budgetary, internal record keeping activities, and contract procedures. Ability to work
independently and carry out assignments to completion with minimum supervision. Ability to maintain records and to prepare and submit complex reports from such records. Ability to maintain effective working relationship with other employees.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. None: The
