In this role, you will be responsible for:

Leading and executing J&J IM North America Learning Excellence learning strategy to set tone and culture of continuous learning. Lead all J&J IM North America Learning Excellence COE services and capabilities to identify and prioritize learning needs, develop and execute learning programs, and measure the effectiveness of learning initiatives, in with business needs.

  • Shapes strategic direction for J&J IM North America Learning Excellence ensuring that approaches, processes, and ways of working further collaborative relationships, achieve positive business outcomes, and create competitive advantage in alignment with overall business strategy


  • Develops and drives a vision, encourages innovation, and leads a change management agenda across the business to drive business impact above and beyond the current state of capabilities


  • Owns the advancement of L&D across a learning maturity model and application of future focused learning trends to support success


  • Attracts and develops elite and diverse talent that is committed to individual and collective growth, challenges the status quo, and achieves significant business impact


  • Oversee efforts to enhance development of L&D staff throughout the enterprise


  • Represents FEDO while acting as a senior trusted advisor to TA Leadership Team members:


  • Develops internal collaborations and builds positive, constructive relationships across all levels and disciplines to achieve business objectives


  • Applies executive-level leadership, project management, problem-solving and social skills to drive organizational impact and accelerate growth through execution of learning and development approaches


  • Serve as subject matter expert to inform senior executives about learning industry trends and common practices for learning


  • Closely partner with J&J Learn org lead to align strategy with the broader learning strategy and ecosystem


  • Oversee shaping of Janssen's learning governance and provide guidance to TA SL&D and COE learning leaders


  • Cultivate and drive learning culture and its strategic initiatives across Janssen


  • Communicate learning impact and value driven to support business metrics that matter across executive-level TA / Business leadership


  • Closely partner with Strategic Business Solutions to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of learning solutions between J&J IM North America Learning Excellence COE and Strategic Business Solutions groups


  • Continuously seek to drive innovative approaches, create operational efficiencies and elevate team competencies to enhance performance expectations


  • Demonstrate the ability to orchestrate activities across large teams and integrate and synthesize multiple outputs to drive impact

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree; Masters Preferred

Required:

  • 15+ years industry experience, with a minimum of 10 years in people management


  • Proven ability to build multi-level or multi-functional teams in a matrix environment


  • Previous experience leading Learning and Development organizations and strong understanding of L&D capabilities (e.g., processes, adult learning principles) required


  • Experience managing vendors on new, growth, and transformation projects with significant operational and functional budgets is required


  • Experience leading large, high-performing teams to deliver transformation is required.


The base pay range for this position is $163,000 to $282,900. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
