Job Duties

DMV is seeking to hire up to 4 individuals to work in our Online Vehicle Work Center.
The Online Dealer Program Support Technician position is a high volume support job, that consist of being available as a help desk support to the Virginia Dealers apart of the Online Dealers Program. You will take calls, process emails request, received faxes from dealers requesting updates and having to answer questions to resolve processing issues. The work center is also a support and receive calls in regard to NMVTIS (National Motor Vehicle Title Information System) and MSL (Mechanic and Storage Liens). Candidates must have an eye for detail, be skilled in multitasking and able to be able to sit for the duration of their shift on a phone. Title experience is a plus but not required. Some of the duties include:
-Performs quality control review of collected motor vehicle sales and use tax for vehicle that were titled in the online dealer system.
-Properly research and analyze all requests from internal and external customers.
-Accurately update customer records on all databases such a NMVTIS, CSS and OnBase.
-Oversee that monies collected for transactions processed coincide with settlement amounts for reconciliation.
-Properly research and analyze requests from internal database workflows, faxes, emails and phone calls.
- Process Mechanic's and Storage Lien applications and correspondence.

Minimum Qualifications

*Working knowledge of business English, grammar, and math.
*Working knolwdge of DMV's vehicle processes
*Working skills using a keyboard, personal computer and Microsoft Word.
*Working skills with office operational principles, office equipment and use of standard business forms and filing systems.
*Demonstrated ability to interpret, explain and apply policies, procedures, state and federal laws and regulations.
*Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work using prescribed procedures.
*Demonstrated ability to communicate courteously and effectively with others orally and in writing.
*Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
*High school Diploma or equivalent.
