D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Document Imaging Specialist. The right candidate will organize, digitize, and archive documents. Review scanning quality ensuring documents are legible for retention of company records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples and paper clips, taping rips, inserting cover sheet, counting, numbering, and identifying different document classification

Place the physical records into a scanner using the right orientation to initiate the scan

Responsible for checking the quality of the digital copie

Make any adjustments necessary for clean scan

Re-scan the individual documents that have lower image quality or an improper alignment

Regularly inspect the quality and assuring smooth functioning of document scanner

File scanned documents into a logical folder organization so others within the company can quickly and efficiently find the records needed

Trouble shoot printer queues, maintaining supplies and overall maintenance

Ensure proper document classification, sorting, filing, and archiving

Communicate concerns and coordinate movement of file boxe

Maintain file management of structured electronic format documentation

Maintain the highest standards of privacy, data quality, data integrity, confidentiality, and security

Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

Ability to work overtime

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role
  • Capable of handling documentation for multiple concurrent projects in an organized fashion
  • Highly organized and well versed in various types of filing systems and methodologies
  • Provide attention to detail
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Office Administration or outside classes in document management or imaging programs a plus
