The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing care to medically fragile children and adults with developmental disabilities in a residential facility.

Must be willing and able to commute on a daily basis to Upper Bucks.

CLIENT'S AVAILABLE HOURS
Saturday & Sunday- 7a-7p or 7a-11p
3rd shift- 11p-7:30- Monday- Friday and Every Other Saturday & Sunday

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Provide compassion and emotional support to residents, ensuring all activities are designed and implemented with a goal of individual growth
* Assist residents with tasks they are unable to perform for themselves including personal care, lifting unassisted up to 60 lbs, light housekeeping
* Provide companionship. Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of care and concern
* Transport individuals as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
* Child Abuse Clearance
* Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
* One (1) year of verifiable experience in caregiving
* Experience enriching the lives of persons with Intellectual Developmental Disorders (IDD)
* Experience working in, or supporting the personal care of children and adults i.e., bathing, dressing, and meal preparations
*Must be able to complete client's online trainings

Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) are encouraged to reply.
