The AWS Global Sales Tech North America Untapped Talent Program team (UTP) is responsible for building Builders for the technical community (Solutions Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, etc.) at AWS. We are on a mission to continually explore and expand into talent sources wherever they may be.

Our team is looking for a program owner to design and execute programs to attract, onboard, and develop Early Career Talent, including summer interns and university hires. You will have a direct impact helping Builders grow their career. You will make a difference for AWS through the Early Career Builders who support AWS customers along their cloud journey. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate passion in working with interns and early-in-tech career individuals, ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail especially during event planning and execution, and work backwards from customer feedback to make continuous improvement to the programs you own. You will own designing and executing programs that focus on Early Career Talent attraction (e.g. campus engagement strategy) and development (e.g. internship program curriculum). You will be adept at interacting, communicating, and partnering with other departments within AWS such as our Sales teams, HR, and Recruiting.

• Design and execute summer internship and early career talent recruiting strategies and events in partnership with business leadership and talent acquisition teams

• Work closely with cross-functional teams (recruiting, HR, training, and operations, etc.) to influence and drive decisions

• Build and iterate on programs that support early career talent development

• Create, manage, and report on program success metrics

• Communicate to a wide range of stakeholders from Builders to Executives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program/project management experience

- 3+ years of experience working cross functionally and influence in a matrix environment

- Experience using data for status tracking, reporting, and program refinement

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in a clear and concise manner in front of audience including executives and early career talent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience building a structured internship program that supports interns' professional development

- Experience planning and executing recruiting, marketing, or educational events (virtual and/or in-person)

- PMP certified

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $74,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
