Job Description

The purpose of this job is to build and provide support for the various applications, processes, data, and reports within the company's Master Data Management Platform (TIBCO EBX5)

• Create and develop new application software as well as develop features and functionality for existing software with limited guidance from management or senior team members
• Provide support for existing software applications, including moderate troubleshooting and bug fixes
• Add features, fixes, and enhancements to new and existing applications, processes, and reports; recommend technology to use; assist in determining solution for development of new features and enhancements
• Independently troubleshoot and analyze basic issues with applications, processes, data, and reports; help determine appropriate action to follow to resolve these issues
• Test application code, features, functionality, and fixes; assist quality assurance (QA) as needed
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and users to support basic day-to-day business functions
• Collaborate with business users to clarify requirements for moderately complex new or existing features
• Assist in training support staff and other team members on the proper use and troubleshooting of software applications
• Create new documentation and update existing documentation for IT systems and processes; follow the recommended format, process, and diagrams to be used in the creation of materials
• Assist junior team members through mentoring, collaboration, and code reviews

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in application development
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; Master's degree is a plus, preferably in computer science or MIS
• Java development experience required
• Must have skills: Tibco, Java
• Must have 4+ years' experience with TIBCO EBX
• Hands on Experience implementing TIBCO EBX Workflows dynamically using JAVA
• Any experience with Product upgrades, specifically to 6.0v
• Experience on creating custom views, triggers, constraints, and script tasks
• Experience with EBX addons (Like DAMA) and how to use them efficiently.
• Experience on creating custom pages with HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT)
• Experience on workflows both Maker checker and Direct merge
• Custom pages on UI
• EBX Data model creations
• Nice to have EBX addons like Match & Merge, Survivorship.
• Write REST and SOAP services for data publishing and consumption using Java 1 6 and J2EE 1
• Hands on experience on SDLC of Web and Server side interactive application using java J2EE
• Experience in writing JDBC JMS program modules
• Reports and POI framework
• Knowledge in Job scheduling - Active Batch preferred
• Knowledge on java XML processing
• Knowledge with message queuing and lambda processing preferred
• Experienced in writing SQL and performed optimization and query tuning Implemented build automation and continuous integration using JENKINS
• Experience in GITHUB for version control and approval process for merging branches
• Experience in deploying builds in tomcat servers on various environments that Include DEV/Test Prod Environments
• Experience with Agile
• Experience with Jira
