The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Celebration
The role you'll contribute: The Echo Tech uses high frequency sound waves (ultrasound), and other noninvasive echocardiography testing equipment, to produce images of the heart. These procedures require specialized knowledge and skills in support of the provision of diagnostic and/or therapeutic services to a specified patient population. May work in a hospital, clinical, or research environment. Echo Techs may specialize in Adult Echocardiography, Pediatric Echocardiography or Fetal Echocardiography.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
• 2 years of relevant Xray Tech / Rad Tech exp required
• Must be proficient in the English language
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Echocardiography school
• Must be ARDMS/RDCS certified or RCS through CCI certified
• Two years of experience in a hospital environment
• Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) upon hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• RDMS, RDCS or RCS Certification
Qualifications

• Must be proficient in the English language
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Echocardiography school
• Must be ARDMS/RDCS certified or RCS through CCI certified

• Registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) upon hire

• RDMS, RDCS or RCS Certification
