  • Your Role:

    The ED Receptionist answers the phone in a professional manner, triaging the calls. Greets and responds to all patients and visitors in a friendly, caring manner. Maintains a clean, organized area in the Nurse's Station.
    Position Summary
    • The ED Tech II, under the direction of an Emergency Department Nurse, Emergency Department Physician, facilitates and supports the provision of patient care. This will include performing tasks contributing to the care, safety and comfort of Emergency Services (ES) patients, families, guests; and to the functional operation of the Unit.
  • Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
    • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
    • License/Certifications: Current EMT-Basic license or CNA certification required. Current workplace safety training (MOAB or CPI) certification within six months of hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
    • Experience: One to two years' acute care experience preferred.
    • Proficient computer skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
