Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-C)

Position Summary

We are seeking an Educator - Clinician, Training & Development who will provide and design education for the entire Maine Behavioral Healthcare footprint. The Educator will enhance the educational presence in Maine Behavioral Healthcare Ambulatory services and supporting Social Work interns by providing group supervision.

The Educator will develop, coordinate and implement orientation, education and training activities. The Educator is responsible for overseeing the work of the Educator I and Data Management Assistant.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field required. Independent license preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Safety-Care ™ Instructor Certification and BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Instructor certification preferred or successful certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience: 3+ years of employment in the mental health field working directly with clients/patients, acute inpatient psych experience preferred. Experience teaching adult learners preferred.
  • Experience teaching adult learners preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office products is required; proficiency with electronic medical record software (i.e. EPIC, Cerner, Meditech) preferred.
