Location: 2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210

The role you'll contribute:

EKG Technician performs inpatient and outpatient 12 Lead electrocardiograph recordings, holter/event monitor placement/scanning as needed, and treadmill stress testing along with related documentation

The value you'll bring to the team:
  • Confirms that appropriate patient information is present and complete prior to starting a procedure.
  • Confirms patient identification and understanding of procedure.
  • Performs thorough and accurate routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physician.
  • Presents all STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion.


Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of established EKG exam during orientation or within 6 months, and annually thereafter
  • Previous patient care experience; on the job training
  • Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association
  • Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) OR Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician (CRAT) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) within 18 months of starting this role with any Advent Health facility
