Insight Global is hiring an Electrical Designer for a leading Semiconductor company in Austin, TX. This electrical designer is required to ensure timely and efficient project completions that will achieve customer objectives. This electrical designer will work with the Design/Engineering team, internal/external, and various customers in order to develop accurate design drawings suitable for construction. This is a 5 days a week onsite role, with the occasional OT.

Day-To-Day:
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs by analyzing equipment/vendor specifications, customer requirements, and existing designs.
- Work with multiple customers and Facilities personnel.
- Support engineering evaluations (working with Engineering System Owners).
- Maintain utility database.
- Field Work (As-Builts, etc).
- Follow Design & CAD best practices.
- Maintain confidential information.
Follow and comply with all safety regulations.

Required Skills & Experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2019 or newer (which includes knowledge of X'refs).
- Skilled in electrical design in circuits, wire sizing, etc.
- Ability to read and understand PI&D's.
- Ability to adapt existing products and processes in unique ways to solve customer problems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Soft Skills:
Ownership of his/her projects.
Ability to multi-task while maintaining project deadlines.
Self-motivated.
Knowledge of Semiconductor industry/Tool Hook-up.
