Electrical Engineer Responsibilities


  • Design detailed schematics and complete layouts for circuit boards and opto-electro-mechanical systems.

  • Assemble, test, debug, and integrate designs into opto-electro-mechanical systems.

  • Transform vendor reference designs or block diagrams into custom solutions.

  • Optimize system architecture and circuits for power consumption and battery life.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as the industrial design, architecture, product design, NPI, and supply chain teams.

  • Perform lab measurements and factory tests as needed to validate designs and resolve technical issues.

  • Track test progress, bugs, and fixes and produce regular progress reports.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

  • Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:

  • 1. Schematic and board design using Cadence or CAD, Altium or equivalent

  • 2. Oscilloscopes and high-speed digital test equipment

  • 3. Logic analyzers

  • 4. Function generators

  • 5. Digital signal processing and real-time image processing

  • 6. Display engineering

  • 7. Camera modules

  • 8. Mobile SoC

  • 9. PMIC or Battery Management System, and

  • 10. Developing low-level code for embedded systems.

$183,804/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
