System One is seeking Electrical Engineer candidates for immediate CONTRACT and DIRECT opportunities in the Tulsa area.

This position will be responsible for project engineering, product integrity, and new product development.
This job function interacts with outside customers as needed, and with the company's Sales Team and Project Managers to adhere to customer requests and orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive business metrics (safety, 5S, quality, on-time-delivery, cost, materials).
  • Lean manufacturing champion (standard work, lead-time, quality, etc.).
  • Expert in application of industrial codes and standards (NEC, IEC, DOT, CFR).
  • Engineering hazardous area products (Class 1-Div1 & 2, ATEX).
  • Adept with P&ID and I/E creation, definition, design, and application.
  • Engineering/design of AC/DC circuits: power, lighting, gas/fire detection, panels, conduit runs.
  • Selection and application of PLCs to include programming; flow computers (Omni, Control Wave, etc.).
  • Expert in specification and selection of process instrumentation and control devices: RTD's thermocouples, SCADA, flow measurement instrumentation.
  • Application of MCC's and VFD's.
  • Application of ultrasonic, turbine, Coriolis, and orifice meters.
  • Application of moisture, H2S, oxygen analyzers.
  • Application of gas chromatographs.
  • Moderate travel is required as it relates to customer, inter-company, and supplier interface.
  • Work with designers, drafters, and fabricators to verify designs, drawings, bills of materials, and fabrication concerns.


Education:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or in Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited University.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of progressive design/manufacturing experience is required.
  • Leadership experience in a shop fabrication system preferred.
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience is preferred.
  • Experience in engineered products for natural gas transmission, processing, and/or natural gas storage is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, QAD, Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other applicable tools.
