Electrical Engineer

This role involves collaborating with engineers and designers to provide design, calculations, and other electrical engineering activities. You will lead advanced electrical system design projects, manage project timelines and budgets, and occasionally specialize in areas like short circuit and relay coordination analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical aspects of electrical components in all in-house projects, ensuring compliance with project scope and corporate risk management.
• Mentor staff in technical knowledge, presentation skills, and understanding of the firm's capabilities and confidentiality requirements.
• Support the management and preparation of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
• Conduct studies, due diligence reviews, capital cost estimates, and develop design documents from concept to construction completion.
• Have expertise in medium voltage equipment and distribution systems.
• Supervise the creation of electrical specifications, including those for electrical construction work.
• Perform advanced electrical calculations for system design according to NEC or other specified standards, using department or vendor software as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2+yrs relevant work experience
• P.E. License preferred
