**This is an ON-SITE position**

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to support two senior engineers in the instrumentation and testing group for an organization that engineers life safety critical fire safety systems. This person will be responsible for developing lab equipment and instruments that will be used for testing electronic devices at the hardware level and at the software level. This position will be about 50% hands on and 50% programming in LabView, so experience in either C++ or Python is required, we are willing to consider candidates with experience in controls engineering as an alternative. The role is ~80% sustaining and maintaining existing lab equipment and instrumentation and 20% developing new test equipment etc.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology
- Experience with C++ or Python (scripting), LabVIEW strongly preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in a test engineering, instrumentation, or controls engineering related role
- Willing to travel to Colorado Springs up to 50% of the time for the first year of the position
