Electrical Engineering Co-Op

Description:

Patton is seeking a talented and motivated Electrical or Computer Engineering student to join our dynamic team as an Electrical Engineering Co-Op. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of our cutting-edge data communications and networking products. You will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced electrical, mechanical and software engineers in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Electrical Engineering: Contribute to the creation and modification of electrical circuits and printed circuit board assemblies for our products.
• System Specification and Design: Participate in system specification, design, integration, test, and verification/validation processes.
• Collaborative Work: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, electrical, and manufacturing engineers, to ensure seamless product development.
• Technology Integration: Work with state-of-the-art microprocessors, memory components, communication, and mixed-signal ICs in the design and development of our products.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Skills: Familiarity with electrical engineering principles, basic digital logic design and computer architecture gained through coursework.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
• Programming Experience: Advantageous to have come computer programming experience.
• Innovation and Initiative: Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and an eagerness to contribute to a dynamic engineering environment.
