TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Lead located in Atlanta, GA.

This role leads the Electrical Engineering team from concept to market and directs the resources who develop product offering, features, and rules based on the product development roadmap. This position is responsible for delivering the technical design, prototyping, release, and support for the EOX electrical platform. This position will work cross-functionally with Mechanical, PLM, Field, PSM, and Manufacturing stakeholders. Close collaboration and coordination with global design teams will be required in this role.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provides technical assistance to the field organization covering most of the
• Oversees development\delivery\validation\support of electrical design for EOX.
• Oversees cost tracking activities and initiatives to meet cost targets.
• Develops and maintains department resource planning to meet the schedules in alignment with business objectives in conjunction with the PLM team.
• Collaborates with the other product development groups globally.
• Ensures partnership\collaboration with the cross-functional team, to deliver product offering in accordance with the product roadmap.
• Researches the viability of new technology and processes for new and existing products.
• Monitors program deliverables including timeline and cost.
• Works with employees to produce meaningful individual technical development.
• Responsible for the assignment of resources to various projects.
• Assists as needed the PM and PLM groups to communicate product priorities across the company by collaborating with various functions and building consensus among them.
• Supports product marketing to effectively introduce products, coordinate advertising, and participate in trade shows and other key activities during the life cycle of the product.
• Supports training of internal staff with a focus on areas vital to the department and product road map.
• Develops and promote department standards and processes which promote quality\delivery and includes proper documentation and control.
• Establishing quality standards and require supporting quality assurance standards.
• Travel to jobsites, vendor meetings and other events as necessary.
• Maximizes efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm.
• Support and promote all TK Elevators' safety programs.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required.
• Master's degree or equivalent professional knowledge required.
• 6+ years' experience in a product development.
• Must demonstrate a strong aptitude for electrical design and elevator systems.
• Must be able to communicate the department and product vision.
• Must have experience setting out the vision and roadmap for products.
• Exemplary judgment regarding product usability, customer expectations, and creative product tradeoffs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to present data and product recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong leadership and team building skills.
• Excellent proficiency using MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project or comparable Project Management Software).
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with product development processes.
• Ability to travel sporadically for customer/vendor/factory related activities.
