Electrical Engineering Technician, Semi Truck, High Voltage Inverters & Power Conversion Systems

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Technician to join our team, focusing on the testing and validation of high voltage inverters and power conversion systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with electrical circuits, high voltage systems, and basic electronic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and validation of high voltage inverters and power conversion systems under various load or environmental conditions
• Conduct electrical measurements and tests using equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and semiconductor analyzers
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in electrical boards and systems, ensuring accurate and reliable test results
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of test rigs and equipment, including high voltage power supplies, load banks, communication boards, and environmental chambers
• Document test procedures, results, and observations for analysis and reporting
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve test processes and outcomes

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical circuits and high voltage safety practices
• Experience with electrical testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
• Ability to solder and work with electrical boards
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques for electronic systems
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
• Experience with high voltage inverter testing or power conversion systems (preferred)
• Knowledge of semiconductor measurement techniques (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment (preferred)

Expected Compensation

$24.40 - $65.40/hour, depending on level + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
