Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with robust project management capabilities to
join our team in Greenville, SC. This role is perfect for a professional with a strong background in power
generation, commissioning, and medium to high voltage electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have at
least 4 years of relevant experience, be proficient in electrical codes and standards, and have a proven track
record in coordinating contractors and managing projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and
budget.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications
and standards.
- Develop, review, and approve electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Ensure all projects comply with electrical codes and standards.
- Oversee the commissioning of electrical systems, including power generation and medium voltage
electrical systems.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates and addressing any issues or changes in scope.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful
project outcomes.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, specifications, and proposals.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering with minimum 4 years experience with high voltage or medium
voltage systems.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical or electric power construction, installation, operation or
maintenance with conventional or renewable power plant, transmission or distribution systems in electric
power utilities, power equipment manufacturing, high-voltage and high-power equipment testing.
* Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and standards (i.e. IEC, UL, NEC, BDEW, CEI, etc.).
* Demonstrated experience in Project Management coordinating contractors and managing multiple
projects simultaneously.
* Have a strong electrical design system knowledge for both DC and AC systems with focus on MV
distribution systems including protections.
* Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear technical specifications.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
