Electrical Installer

A client of Insight Global is looking for a full-time Electrical Installer in Memphis to join their amazing culture. In this role, you will install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety with minimal guidance as needed. You will work closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training.
Install, program, test, repairs, and service a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation with minimal guidance as needed.
Work closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training. May assist or train less experienced Electrical Installers. Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.
Interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.

Required Skills & Experience
- Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
- Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in electronic security industry
- Previous construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background
- Relevant trade designation (e.g. Electrician)
- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
- Experience with Axis / Bosch / DMP / Lenel / Software House

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certifications & Licenses: Project Management Institute (PMI); industry-specific certifications and/or licenses.
