Electrical / Instrumentation and Controls (E/I&C) Engineer

A client is seeking an E/I&C Engineer in Huntsville, AL. This team designs, develops, modifies and evaluates instrumentation and control (I&C) and electrical systems and equipment, components and instrumentation used in industrial applications. This work will be working on the design of process systems, mechanical equipment, mechanisms found in nuclear power plants, commercial and government nuclear fuel processing plants, chemical plants, refineries and power plants. This individual will determine design approaches and parameters. Duties will be affiliated w/ motion control engineering and design, Control System Design, PLC Programming and HMI Development (using Rockwell Automation RSLogix/Studio 5000).

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years as an instrumentation and controls engineer.
Bachelors degree
Strong technical writing skills
Design and engineer instrumentation and control (I&C) and electrical systems
PLC Programming and HMI design and development using Rockwell Automation RSLogix/Studio 5000 SW or similar software

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Perform control system integration with Adams Hexagon using MATLAB
Rockwell Automation RSLogix/Studio 5000 SW for PLC programming
DOE nuclear experience
PE License
Siemens SIMATIC Step 7
